IPL Case Has Been Over Politicised-Shilpa

Actress Shilpa Shetty, who is the co-owner of Indian Premier League (IPL) Rajasthan Royals team, Tuesday said the IPL case had been “over-politicised” and that IPL commissioner Lalit Modi should not be judged guilty until proven so.
“I don’t want to be rude or curt, I just want to say that it is an IT probe and not a media probe. I think things have been over-politicised,” Shilpa told reporters.
“I know that’s a word we too conveniently use to get out of a situation, but it is true in this case and in the current scenario,” she said.
“I really don’t want to say anything, as we just came as investors in the second year and everything seemed perfectly fine and it still is. As far as RR is concerned, Rajasthan Royals board is completely above board and that’s what I would like to maintain,” she added.
The actress said Lalit Modi is yet to be proven guilty.
“I would also like to say that till you are proven guilty, you are not guilty. You have to appreciate the fact that IPL has brought lots of name and revenue to this country. And I think Lalit Modi has done a great job. If there is something murky and there is proof, then let the law take its course and legal action must be taken but as of now let’s not jump the gun,” Shilpa said.

Vikram-I am Not Leaving Tamil Cinema For Hindhi

Popular Tamil hero Vikram, who made his debut with the film ‘Meera’ in Tamil, has got name and fame from Bala’s ‘Sethu’. Now, he is all set to make his debut in bollywood with Mani Ratnam’s Ravan.
While speaking to popular English daily, Chiyaan says “The work in Mumbai is so exciting. When I saw Rang De Basanti, Lagaan, 3 Idiots and My Name Is Khan, I wanted to be part of them. I wish we could make films like that in Tamil. Most Tamil films are rustic, rural, rugged and violent. Many of them are set in Madurai, which is known to be an aggressive city.”
I’m not leaving Tamil cinema for Hindi. With four films to shoot in Tamil, I’ve already started my next Tamil film, a psycho-thriller directed by Selvaraghavan where I’ve three roles. I’ve a film about a stage actor from the 1930s. I can’t do routine films. The acting bug bit me when I was in class 3.” adds furthur
When he was asked about learning and speaking in Hindi, Vikram says “Not too good. My co-star Abhishek Bachchan has been helping me with my Hindi lines in Raavan. Abhishek is one of my best friends. I am known to be the prankster. But with Abhishek around, I had to withdraw from the brat race.”
